Spring
The snow is melting my friend I can see
Spring - it comes again - with his fertility
Newly born blossoms sprout through the ice
Cracks - just in between - undoing winters vice
Through the air blows a gentle breeze
Listen! All! Winter will cease!
The daylight is doing a much longer show
The warmth the rays give will soon also grow
The white floor is melting, green grass coming through
The Birds are returning, and the other creatures too
The herbage is lifting the powdery fleece
Listen! All! Winter will cease!
The glooming cold coat is almost vanished
The snowing abates, the coldness banished
The sunlight is shining in warm red afresh
breaking the last ice, heating the cold flesh
All nature lives - the chilliness eased
Listen! All! Winter has ceased!

Als großer Frühlingsfan mag ich das sehr gern - die Überschwänglichkeit kommt gut, besonders durch die letzte Zeile in jeder Strophe
